Simon Hazelgrove
Operations Director
Since joining Spring as a managing partner in January 2006, Simon has jointly headed the growth of the company, working with some of the agency's largest clients on a day-to-day basis as well as overseeing the company's operations and production activities.
Simon's career started in the Royal Green Jackets after passing out from RMA Sandhurst. After RGJ he cycled from Winchester to Israel, led a Tower Hamlets charity motorbike expedition across the Sahara and taught mountain climbing in America. He then joined the comms team for the planning, build and launch of London Docklands by the LDDC.
From that point, Simon forged a photographic career that saw him owning one of London's largest photographic studios and becoming well known as a leading British architectural photographer and aerial cameraman.
He brings attention to detail, team management and deadline-consciousness to his position as a client handler and Director of Operations at Spring.
“Spring’s clients are a perennial source of delight and interest for me. There’s nothing better than working with one to the point that they start to see real benefits from Spring’s work.”
