As more people use mobile devices to plan and book their holidays TOCC asked Spring to help them get match fit to make the most of the opportunity.
We worked with them to introduce new, responsive sites for their national and regional brands that adapt seamlessly to desktop, tablet or mobile use – sites that are functionally as well as visually tailored.
The sites are customer-led, with a focus on search and with information fed differently dependent upon the device they used, with an enhanced ‘Wishlist’ widget and simplifying the booking process.
Whilst templated for back of house speed and efficiency and a consistent customer experience across brands, the sites cleverly maximise personalisation of home pages by regional agencies to ensure communication of their brand, expertise and property portfolio.
In the first year the sites saw an increase in visits of 23%, despite no significant changes in website visibility, and conversion rates rose by 9%. This delivered 34% increase in bookings across all devices with bookings on desktop, tablet and mobile up by an average of 15%, 58% and 165% respectively.
